Admission Procedure for Diploma & Certiﬁcate Courses
1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
a) In case of any queries please dial 055-3847107 CTTC reception during working hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) on any weekday except Sunday. Staﬀ members of CTTC are also available for consultation during admission period.
b) The application form must be submitted along with the required documents (mentioned in the form). No application will be processed after the last date.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
2.1 Educational Requirements (3 Year Diploma Courses)
Students who are seeking admission for Diploma in Associate Engg Courses in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Architecture and CIT must have passed their matriculation in science subjects from any board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan or any equivalent examination recognized by Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore.
The admission / registration will be conﬁrmed after veriﬁcation of the matriculation certiﬁcate from the concerned Board.
Note: The applicants who have passed 5 years of schooling (primary pass) is eligible to take admission in Motor Cycle Mechanic Course.
2.2 Age Limit
The age of the applicant seeking admission in Diploma (DAE) and G-II courses is 18 years, however relaxation can be granted by the following authorities.
a) (18-21) Years ------------------Principal CTTC
b) (21 and above) -------------------PBTE
The request for age relaxation to PBTE will be processed through Principal oﬀice.
2.3 Physical Fitness
Applicant should be physically and mentally ﬁt for working in Laboratory and workshop.
Applicant seeking admission must appear in the entry test conducted by Christian Technical Training centre.
3. ADMISSION PROCESS
a) Applicant seeking admission must ﬁll the Application form Fl (attached in the prospectus) in BLOCK LETTERS and submit at CTTC Reception. The following documents must be attached with the application form:
I. Matriculation / Middle Pass Certiﬁcate or School Leaving Certiﬁcate. (4 Photo Copies) [As per the eligibility criteria for admission in a respective course]
ii. Character Certiﬁcate. (Photo Copy)
iii. Father/Guardian Computerized National Identity Card. (Photo Copy)
iv. Form-B of the student. (Photo copy)
v. Eight(8) recent 1.5x1.5 size photographs. (Original)
vi. Undertaking on stamp paper. (sample mentioned on Page No. 55) [To be provided upon the conﬁrmation of admission at CTTC]
b) CTTC reception will issue an interview call letter as a receipt against your admission form. The detail of fee and other necessary information will be given on the call letter.
c) The candidate will appear in the Entry Test as per the given date on the call letter.
d) The candidate will appear in an interview as per the given date on call letter.
e) The ﬁnal list of students will be displayed on CTTC notice Board within 7 to 10 days of entry test.
f) All selected students will submit their original documents and fee as per Admission schedule otherwise his/her admission will be considered as cancelled and student on waiting list will be given a chance.
4. ASSESSMENT / ENTRY TEST
a) The assessment / entry test for Diploma in Associate Engineering comprises of four sections. There will be multiple choice questions related to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
b) The test must be ﬁnished within the given time. No extra time will be allowed to any student
c) The candidate will be provided with a question paper, an answer sheet and a rough work sheet.
d) The test must be answered only on the provided answer sheet and all rough work must be done on the rough work sheet.
e) During examination whispering and talking with others is not allowed. In case of any evidence of cheating and non compliance will lead to disqualiﬁcation of admission.
The candidate should bring with him/her the following:
i. Admission Card / Call Letter
ii. Blue/Black ball Point/Ink pen.
